Daily Connect: Wisdom and Light?

Happy Thursday loves. Today is the second day of Hanukkah. I'm not particularly well versed in Jewish holidays but this year I've decided to do at least a small Wiki edification and commemorated the festivities yesterday with a single candle that burned through the night. I've always been intrigued by the "Festival of Lights" and wanted to offer a small Daily Connect that somehow seamlessly and brilliantly integrated a morsel of wisdom shared by the two traditions of Judaism and Buddhism. This will have to wait until (perhaps!) next year; however, being somewhat light fixated, I think that a sweet Buddhist reminder of the often invoked light that is your (and all traditions) inherent wisdom might be appropriate:

Daily Quote(s):

"To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue."- Buddha

But what, you ask, is wisdom?

"I am not, I will not be. I have not, I will not have. This frightens all children, And kills fear in the wise." - Nagarjuna

Any questions? *Wink*
